We are seeking a skilled and experienced Garage Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues on a variety of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on trucks, trailers, light vehicles, forklifts, and chest loaders.
- Diagnose and resolve fault codes using diagnostic equipment, specifically focusing on Mercedes truck systems.
- Maintain and repair air conditioning systems in vehicles.
- Assist mechanics with general garage tasks like painting, cleaning, and tire management.
- Follow repair job cards to ensure efficient and accurate work completion.
- Maintain a professional and collaborative working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a garage electrician with a strong focus on automotive electrical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems in trucks, trailers, and other heavy vehicles.
- Ability to read and interpret fault codes, particularly on Mercedes trucks.
- Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
