A company in Kuwait is seeking a qualified BMS Engineer to join their team! This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in commissioning, programming, and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS).
Responsibilities
- Commission control panels and BMS systems.
- Develop and implement BMS logic programs and strategies.
- Work with various HVAC equipment (Air Handling Units, Variable Air Volume systems, Fan Coil Units, Pumps, and Chillers).
- Integrate BMS with third-party systems using protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP.
- Provide reactive support for BMS issues.
- Communicate effectively with project teams and the office-based support team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BMS testing and commissioning.
- Extensive knowledge of either Trend or Sauter Systems with Niagara.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in preparing new system designs, product selection, and generating Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with project teams and clients.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.
- AutoCAD knowledge (advantageous).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). Arabic is a plus.
- Must hold a valid and transferable Residency Visa 18.
