Wits Global, a company focused on engineering projects in Kuwait, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pre-Sales Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in securing new projects for major Kuwaiti companies like KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, and KUFPEC.
Responsibilities
- Tender Management:
- Identify potential tenders and business opportunities in various engineering fields (low voltage, energy systems, renewable energy, etc.)
- Evaluate tenders for feasibility and gather necessary documents for submissions.
- Prepare and submit complete and accurate tender applications.
- Manage the tender process, addressing queries and following up on progress.
- Manage procurement of products and services, including negotiation and contract creation.
- Identify suitable manufacturers and suppliers based on project needs.
- Maintain a database of tender documents and outcomes.
- Negotiate competitive terms with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Pre-Qualification:
- Evaluate and pre-qualify companies based on established criteria.
- Assess potential partners and subcontractors for project suitability.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure pre-qualification aligns with project needs.
- Business Development:
- Actively participate in business development activities like industry events and networking.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with teams to develop strategies for attracting new projects.
- CRM Management:
- Maintain an accurate and updated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Ensure all interactions with clients, partners, and stakeholders are documented in the CRM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- Proven experience in tender management, pre-qualification, and business development in Kuwait.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships.
- Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
