Business Development Officer Needed in Kuwait (IT Sales & Hospitality Experience Preferred)

A reputable company in Kuwait is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Officer to join their team. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in sales, relationship building, and achieving business growth.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage a portfolio of existing clients and build long-term relationships.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients through existing and potential networks.
• Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and identify selling opportunities.
• Set and track sales targets aligned with company objectives.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close deals.
• Participate in exhibitions and conferences to network and generate new leads.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve shared goals.
• Prepare reports to analyze and summarize sales data.
• Maintain high-quality customer service by upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in IT sales (preferred).
• 4-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry (also preferred).
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with excellent phone etiquette.
• Ability to build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
• Quick thinking and a results-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Valid Kuwaiti driving license is mandatory.
