As a Valve DAS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all types of valves within the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for valves, including safety relief valves, control valves, regulators, and more.
- Oversee the entire valve lifecycle, including inspection, maintenance, repair, witnessing, and testing.
- Ensure all valve activities adhere to relevant standards and codes.
- Maintain accurate records of valve service and maintenance activities.
- Identify and troubleshoot valve-related issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth valve operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering) with 5 years of experience.
- OR
- 3-year diploma in a relevant field with 10 years of experience.
- Proven experience in the petrochemical industry, specifically with valve maintenance and inspection.
- Valid qualifications/certifications from safety valve and control valve Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong understanding of basic arithmetic, decimals, fractions, and geometric dimensioning.
