Responsibilities

• Cashier Duties:
  • Process customer payments efficiently via cash, check, credit cards, or electronic methods.
  • Provide excellent customer service and issue receipts.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawers and ensure proper change availability.
  • Offer carry-out service to customers upon completion of transactions.
• Accounting Duties:
  • Record financial transactions accurately through journal entries.
  • Manage accounts receivable/payable, including invoices and reconciliations.
  • Maintain inventory control and report on stock issues to the manager.
  • Reconcile daily sales with total payments received.
  • Prepare periodic balance sheets and transaction reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

Skills

• Attention to Detail: Excellent accuracy and meticulousness in handling cash and financial records.
