A leading company in the food and beverage industry in Kuwait is seeking a talented and experienced Procurement Officer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a strong understanding of procurement principles and a passion for the F&B sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Manage procurement processes from sourcing to contract execution.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Track and analyze procurement data to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of micro and material management within the F&B sector.
- Knowledge of macro and microeconomics as applied to the F&B industry.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Arabic nationality (mandatory).
- Valid transferable residency visa (Article 18 Ahli) in Kuwait (mandatory).
