A carpentry company located in Amgara, Jahra, Kuwait, is seeking a skilled and experienced Draftsman to join their team. Job Introduction:
As a Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in transforming ideas and concepts into detailed technical drawings used for carpentry projects. You will collaborate with designers, carpenters, and other professionals to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details, using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Interpret sketches, specifications, and work orders to create accurate and comprehensive drawings.
- Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with designers and carpenters to refine designs and address technical issues.
- (Optional) May assist with creating bills of materials and production planning.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Engineering Drafting, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Draftsman in a carpentry or woodworking environment.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of carpentry principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality drawings.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
