Job Introduction:
As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, from bookkeeping and data entry to financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities (discuss during interview):
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Analyze financial data and identify trends.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (BCom or MCom preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP or IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Age below 30 (preferred).
