A leading company in Salmiya, Kuwait, is seeking a motivated and experienced Purchases Representative to join their team! This is a unique opportunity for an individual who enjoys the fast-paced world of procurement to play a key role in securing the best coffee machines and spare parts for the company’s operations.

Job Introduction:

As a Purchases Representative for Coffee Machines & Spare Parts, you will be responsible for the entire purchasing process, from identifying suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensuring timely delivery and maintaining accurate records. Your knowledge of the coffee industry and experience in procurement will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Source and qualify potential suppliers of coffee machines and spare parts in the local and international market.
• Research and compare product features, pricing, and lead times.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
• Manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate specifications, quantities, and pricing.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases to maintain stock availability.
• Oversee the import process for international purchases (if applicable).
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure clear communication.
• Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry developments related to coffee machines and spare parts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 4-6 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing products from local and international markets.
• Strong understanding of purchasing principles and negotiation techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Kuwaiti driving license.
• Transferable work visa 18 (preferred).
