A reputable company in Kuwait is seeking a skilled and experienced Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical substations and associated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing and commissioning of elevated substations, primary substations, and associated equipment.
- Perform testing of CTs, PTs, meters, transducers, power transformers, circuit breakers, SWGRs, and other auxiliary equipment (e.g., batteries, battery chargers).
- Test numerical protection relays, including directional and non-directional OC, EF relays, TR and line differential relays, UV and UF relays, voltage regulating relays, and other auxiliary relays.
- Familiarize yourself with substation schemes and perform commissioning tests like primary injection tests, stability tests, and HV tests.
- Prepare detailed test reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BE/BTech) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proven hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of electrical substations and associated equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of testing procedures and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
