Junior Accountant Opportunity in Hawally, Kuwait

A company in Hawally, Kuwait is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance department with various accounting tasks related to retail management and financing.

Responsibilities (possible responsibilities, discuss during interview)

• Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial reports and statements (discuss during interview).
• Analyze financial data and identify trends (discuss during interview).
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting (discuss during interview).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail management and/or financing accounting.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
