Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and create a variety of chocolate and pastry items with attention to detail and quality.
  • Assist the head chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the timely and efficient production of desserts.
  • Experiment with new recipes and techniques to innovate the dessert menu.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met in compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking ingredients as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in pastry and chocolate preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-4 years of proven experience as a Chocolate and Pastry Chef.
  • Visa Requirement: Must hold Visa 18 (Ahli).
  • Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, pastry techniques, and dessert plating.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and manage time efficiently.
