Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning) projects.
- Progress Reporting and Delay Analysis: Report on project progress, analyze delays, and propose corrective actions.
- Primavera P6 Expertise: Utilize Primavera P6 for effective project scheduling and management.
- Data Handling: Analyze large progress data using MS-Excel or other computerized systems.
- Communication: Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills; work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Schedule Preparation: Create detailed schedules, finalize key milestones, critical paths, and prepare progress measurement systems.
- Progress Monitoring: Update and monitor project schedules, identify critical paths and slippage, and suggest recovery plans.
- Review Deliverables: Assess contractor/consultant planning deliverables, prepare comments, and review progress reports.
- Site Visits: Visit project sites to verify progress and ensure critical activities are on track.
- Meetings and Reports: Participate in progress meetings, provide input, and contribute to various progress reports and presentations.
- Tender Documents: Review and clarify tender documents, prepare MTO & BOQ, and handle vendor quotations.
- Vendor Management: Monitor and compare technical and commercial quotes from vendors and make recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Oil & Gas projects with EPC companies.
- Skills: Expertise in Primavera P6, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS-Excel.
