A leading Food & Beverage company in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Sous Chef specializing in Arabic Cuisine. This role involves assisting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring the preparation of high-quality Arabic dishes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Kitchen Management: Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, including staff management, inventory control, and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Prepare Arabic Cuisine: Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Arabic dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Menu Planning: Contribute to menu development and recipe creation with a focus on authentic Arabic flavors and presentation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet the company’s quality standards and are prepared to order.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise kitchen staff, provide training, and ensure effective communication and collaboration within the kitchen team.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, order supplies as needed, and reduce waste through efficient practices.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Specialization in Arabic Cuisine: Proven experience in preparing and cooking a wide range of traditional Arabic dishes.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably within an F&B company specializing in Arabic cuisine.
  • Culinary Education: Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and manage kitchen staff effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent skills in maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
