A leading company in Hawally is seeking an experienced Electrician specializing in AIS (Automatic Identification System) system installations. This role involves working with navigational and communication equipment and devices for boats and yachts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in AIS system installations and be ready to contribute to our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- AIS System Installation: Install, configure, and maintain AIS systems and related navigational and communication equipment on boats and yachts.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installed systems.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and updates on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and equipment maintenance.
- Compliance: Ensure all installations and services comply with relevant maritime safety regulations and standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in AIS system installations is required.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, navigational equipment, and communication devices for marine applications.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
- Education: Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
