We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Tendering Manager with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing procurement and logistics activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality materials and services.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute procurement and logistics activities for materials on behalf of the company.
- Identify reliable suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, deliveries, and payment terms with suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the supply chain.
- Monitor procurement processes to achieve savings for the company while maintaining quality standards.
- Lead and manage a team of procurement staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and tendering within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to evaluate suppliers and make informed purchasing decisions.
