Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Stay updated on F&B industry trends, food preferences, and evolving customer expectations.

Competitor Analysis

  • Perform detailed analysis of competitors, including their marketing strategies, pricing, product offerings, and market positioning.
  • Identify gaps in the market that present opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Provide insights into competitor strengths, weaknesses, and threats to the business.

Consumer Insights

Reporting & Presentations

  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for the marketing team and senior management.
  • Present insights, data findings, and recommendations in a clear, actionable format.
  • Provide leadership with key intelligence to help shape long-term marketing strategies.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Work with the marketing team to align data findings with ongoing campaigns and product launches.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to gather feedback and improve customer experience.
  • Partner with external agencies or consultants to gain additional market intelligence when needed.

Trend Analysis & Forecasting

  • Identify emerging market trends, technology advancements, and shifts in consumer preferences that could impact the F&B industry.
  • Provide forecasts and predictions based on historical data and current market conditions.
  • Assist in creating future business and marketing plans using trend data.

Data Tools & Systems

  • Utilize tools such as CRM systems, Google Analytics, social listening tools, and market research software to collect and interpret data.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by maintaining up-to-date databases and data collection processes.
  • Recommend and implement new data analysis tools and methodologies to enhance marketing intelligence capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a marketing intelligence or data analytics role, ideally within the F&B industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of marketing research methodologies and data analytics tools.
  • Proficiency: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and CRM systems.
  • Digital Expertise: Familiarity with Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and extract meaningful insights.
