We are looking for a Site Manager to provide direction and leadership to our team at OMDAC-SWACA, ensuring efficient operations and personnel management at our site.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Direction:
- Provide direction to section leads and oversee OMDAC-SWACA personnel at the site.
- Develop and maintain work and vacation schedules to meet contractual requirements.
- Operational Management:
- Ensure safe operations at the site, troubleshooting and maintaining all equipment.
- Report outages and corrective actions as per local procedures.
- Coordinate equipment and resources to support technicians in their duties.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Communicate directly with military counterparts to facilitate mission support.
- Act as the primary conduit for information between site personnel, customers, and project leadership.
- Training & Development:
- Ensure personnel are properly trained for their assigned tasks.
- Implement Government and Mission Assurance, Safety, and training programs.
- Performance Management:
- Provide mentoring and feedback to personnel, documenting performance issues.
- Recommend personnel actions such as re-contracts, promotions, and terminations.
- Administrative Duties:
- Develop Work Center Operating Procedures and required reports.
- Attend and prepare for meetings as necessary.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Degree in IT or a related field preferred. One year of related experience may substitute for one year of education.
- Certifications:
- ITIL Foundations (Latest version required).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in supervisory or managerial positions in Telecommunications Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams.
- Skills:
- Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to enforce company policy and promote a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of working in both office and outdoor settings (80% office, 20% outdoors).
