We are looking for a Site Manager to provide direction and leadership to our team at OMDAC-SWACA, ensuring efficient operations and personnel management at our site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Direction:
    • Provide direction to section leads and oversee OMDAC-SWACA personnel at the site.
    • Develop and maintain work and vacation schedules to meet contractual requirements.
  • Operational Management:
    • Ensure safe operations at the site, troubleshooting and maintaining all equipment.
    • Report outages and corrective actions as per local procedures.
    • Coordinate equipment and resources to support technicians in their duties.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Communicate directly with military counterparts to facilitate mission support.
    • Act as the primary conduit for information between site personnel, customers, and project leadership.
  • Training & Development:
    • Ensure personnel are properly trained for their assigned tasks.
    • Implement Government and Mission Assurance, Safety, and training programs.
  • Performance Management:
    • Provide mentoring and feedback to personnel, documenting performance issues.
    • Recommend personnel actions such as re-contracts, promotions, and terminations.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Develop Work Center Operating Procedures and required reports.
    • Attend and prepare for meetings as necessary.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Degree in IT or a related field preferred. One year of related experience may substitute for one year of education.
  • Certifications:
    • ITIL Foundations (Latest version required).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years in supervisory or managerial positions in Telecommunications Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams.
  • Skills:
    • Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to enforce company policy and promote a positive work environment.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of working in both office and outdoor settings (80% office, 20% outdoors).

Additional Information

This position offers company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus, and a tuition reimbursement program. Candidates must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in Kuwait.
