Nabors Industries is seeking an experienced Asset Supply Chain Manager to oversee all aspects of our supply chain operations in Kuwait. This role involves managing procurement, logistics, inventory, and asset management to ensure optimal business results and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management

  • Oversee all supply chain operations, including purchasing, warehouse management, inventory control, logistics, and distribution.
  • Analyze and advise departments on procurement strategies, inventory control, logistics, and asset management through effective reporting and communication.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and ensure appropriate buying channels, inventory stocking, and transportation logistics are in place.

Procurement and Vendor Management

  • Manage the procurement supply chain process to align with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local and international vendors for timely services and reduced lead times.
  • Negotiate, execute, and manage global agreements, ensuring continuity of supply and competitive pricing.

Performance Optimization

  • Review and analyze processes to identify cost reductions and eliminate waste.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving operational performance, including inventory management, asset control, and logistics efficiency.
  • Implement strategies, policies, and procedures in compliance with company standards and local laws.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Train, develop, and mentor staff across supply chain functions, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews, analyzing trends to enhance future business models.
  • Manage hiring, training, and performance assessments of team members, ensuring a high-performing workforce.

Reporting and Communication

  • Prepare and present monthly reports to stakeholders, summarizing key issues and resolutions.
  • Attend meetings and conference calls to address supply chain challenges and communicate solutions effectively.
  • Ensure all communication aligns with company goals and fosters collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Operations Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or procurement, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of practical asset supply chain management experience, preferably international.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership and strong communication skills.
  • Completion of a recognized program in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing is a plus.
