As an Account Manager, you will join the newly formed Trane Solutions team, tasked with nurturing relationships with key building owner accounts in Kuwait. You will play a crucial role in driving HVAC sales growth, customer retention, and promoting our Trane Building Advantage solutions, ensuring the best energy and operational savings for clients. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about sustainability and the HVAC industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage long-term, trusted relationships with building owners in Kuwait.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for chiller replacements, upgrades, and HVAC solutions.
- Collaborate with the fulfillment team for seamless execution of projects from initial proposal to completion.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Offer HVAC solutions by assessing financial and performance-based considerations for clients.
- Leverage account management processes to grow customer accounts and develop strategic action plans.
- Identify new business opportunities through cold calls and market research.
- Conduct facility walk-throughs to identify energy-saving opportunities.
- Present the value of energy and operational savings to customers, incorporating financial insights.
- Convert sales leads into active opportunities by coordinating sales team members and setting clear next steps.
- Meet or exceed annual sales and gross margin targets.
- Assist customers with technical queries related to HVAC solutions and Trane products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC system sales, particularly in the aftermarket and existing building sectors.
- Proven experience working in the Kuwait market, with strong industry connections.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and solutions, including heating, cooling, and control systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the industrial sector is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license required.
