Responsibilities

  • Follow day-to-day instructions from the Operations Supervisor regarding shipment coordination.
  • Provide customers with regular updates on shipment status and respond to their queries.
  • Collaborate with shipping agents, airlines, and internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of jobs.
  • Coordinate with vendors to meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as finance and accounts to ensure job execution is aligned with company procedures.
  • Post costs in the ERP system and audit cost invoices from ministries and clearance teams before submission to accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the system to reflect the latest shipment information.
  • Report to the line manager on ongoing jobs, highlighting any issues for resolution.

Qualifications

  • Nationality: Preferably Kuwaiti.
  • Education: Minimum High School Certificate or Diploma with relevant work experience.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding operations for air, sea, and land routes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience interacting with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Valid Kuwait Driving License is a plus.
