StriveNest is looking for a detail-oriented Ecommerce Data Entry Specialist to join our premier retail client’s ecommerce item production team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for candidates eager to gain professional experience in a dynamic corporate environment. While the position is primarily remote, occasional in-office assignments may be required.
Responsibilities
- Data Entry and Management:
- Accurately enter product details into inventory management systems.
- Populate Google Sheets and/or Excel Spreadsheets with product-specific information, including:
- Product descriptions
- Shopping guides
- Size charts
- Other pertinent data related to ecommerce items.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to ensure that all product information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with other departments as needed to gather information or clarify product details.
- Quality Assurance:
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all data entry tasks.
- Regularly review entries to ensure consistency and correct any errors promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- Prior experience in data entry or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Drive products and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Communication:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to Detail:
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ecommerce product attribution or similar tasks.
- A background in writing or content creation is highly desired, as it may enhance the quality of product descriptions and copy.
