ADR Application Development Resources, Inc. is seeking two Freelance Consultants with specialized experience in Global Meeting Planning Agencies (MPAs) to oversee critical projects in the EMEA and APAC regions. These consultants will play a hands-on role in managing relationships with MPAs, ensuring efficient and effective operations in line with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the pharma sector and excel in operational execution, stakeholder management, and project management within commercial operations.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Translate strategic thinking into actionable plans, approaches, methodologies, and deliverables related to global meeting planning.
- Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and contract with MPAs to meet organizational needs in the EMEA or APAC regions.
- Develop pricing models and methodologies for MPA services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budgets.
Supplier Performance & Management
- Oversee supplier performance, ensuring MPAs meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Conduct pricing analysis and identify operational efficiencies in collaboration with suppliers to maximize ROI.
Business Operations & Transformation
- Support global business transformation initiatives by ensuring MPA strategies align with broader organizational objectives.
- Provide business analysis and operational insights, particularly within the commercial operations of pharmaceutical organizations.
- Implement project management methodologies and ensure timely delivery of critical projects.
- Navigate complex business environments and manage change effectively to meet business goals.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives and outcomes.
- Foster productive relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support MPA-related initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between global teams to ensure consistency and alignment across regions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Meeting Planning Agency (MPA) management, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong operational and business analysis skills, including pricing analysis and supplier performance management.
- Experience working in Commercial Operations functions, with a strong understanding of the pharma industry.
- Excellent project management skills, ideally with relevant qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Ability to navigate complex business environments and manage large-scale business transformation initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs in a remote environment.
- Travel: May occasionally need to travel to New York for meetings.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages in the EMEA or APAC regions is an advantage.
