Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers warmly and ensuring a pleasant experience.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide accurate change.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized, following health and safety regulations.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to maintain smooth operation.
- Assist in training new baristas, sharing knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment handling.
- Recommend menu items and upsell specialty drinks or pastries to customers.
- Stay updated on new coffee trends and continuously improve your barista skills.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; candidates with a passion for coffee are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines is an advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Attention to detail to ensure the preparation of beverages with accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and team-player mentality.
