With our continued success in the KERP program—clearing millions of square meters of contaminated land and remediating millions of tons of material—we are seeking a Site Engineer (Field Engineer III) to join our dynamic team in Ahmadi, Kuwait. In this role, you will contribute to large-scale, impactful projects that transform contaminated sites into thriving ecosystems, working at the cutting edge of sustainable development.
Responsibilities
As a Site Engineer (Field Engineer III), your key responsibilities will include:
- Technical Design & Planning: Promote and facilitate the involvement of construction in technical design, preliminary execution planning, schedule development, and cost estimation.
- Project Management: Oversee all site-related activities in your discipline, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in execution.
- Contractor Coordination: Develop and maintain familiarity with construction contractors, monitoring their workload and capabilities to ensure project milestones are met.
- Quality Assurance: Work within the guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Business Unit (BU), ensuring high standards of project delivery.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Implement and enforce safety practices, following Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) procedures to ensure personal and team safety.
- Equipment Management: Specify, evaluate, and document all necessary equipment for the project, ensuring it meets the required standards and specifications.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate them while maintaining timelines and project goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Piping, or Instrumentation) from a recognized institution.
- Experience:
- Post-graduate experience in major oil and gas projects.
- Significant experience in the layout, specification, evaluation, and documentation of equipment.
- Previous experience in managing large-sized construction projects, particularly in oil & gas environments.
- Skills:
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Experience coordinating with contractors and managing site-specific responsibilities, including HSE requirements.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities.
- Location: Candidates currently residing in Kuwait are preferred.
