International Group of Aamina (IGA) is seeking an experienced and highly capable Kitchen Manager to lead the operations of our central kitchen in Shuwaikh. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale kitchen operations, particularly across multiple locations. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence, efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management:
    Lead the day-to-day operations of the central kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow, optimal productivity, and strict adherence to the company’s high standards of quality. Monitor kitchen staff performance and maintain effective communication across all levels of the team.
  • Staff Coordination:
    Oversee the scheduling, training, and development of kitchen staff. Ensure team members are fully trained in kitchen processes, food safety, and hygiene standards. Conduct regular performance assessments to promote continuous improvement.
  • Inventory & Procurement:
    Manage inventory levels, ensure timely procurement of supplies, and maintain proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Develop strategies to minimize waste and ensure cost-efficient purchasing, while maintaining a high standard of product quality.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Regularly visit multiple outlets to monitor performance, ensure consistent product quality, and streamline operations. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure operational efficiency across all locations.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    Ensure strict compliance with local health, safety, and hygiene regulations, in line with food safety laws and labor standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, regularly inspecting equipment and facilities to prevent safety risks.
  • Administrative Oversight:
    Manage all administrative aspects of kitchen operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and record-keeping. Oversee cost control measures to ensure profitability and efficient use of resources.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven Experience:
    Minimum [X] years of experience in kitchen management, with a focus on central kitchen operations and overseeing multiple locations. Experience in managing a diverse team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Leadership Skills:
    Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a diverse team. A proven ability to manage kitchen staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure consistent quality.
  • Problem-Solving Ability:
    Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach to tackling operational challenges. Ability to make quick, informed decisions to maintain smooth operations.
  • Multi-Location Expertise:
    Demonstrated experience in managing operations across multiple outlets, ensuring consistency in quality and efficiency. Strong ability to maintain effective communication between various teams and locations.
