Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth: Identify and prioritize high-potential HCPs and stakeholders by leveraging data analysis to influence prescription decisions, ultimately driving competitive sales growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with HCPs through in-person and virtual interactions, leading value-based conversations to understand their challenges, decision drivers, and opportunities.
  • Customer-Centric Experiences: Create personalized customer journeys by reflecting preferences and using multiple engagement channels to deliver memorable and meaningful experiences.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with opinion leaders and key medical influencers to improve patient outcomes and ensure the right treatment is delivered at the right time.
  • Customer Insights: Gather deep insights from HCPs and stakeholders to better understand their business needs, translating feedback into actionable plans that exceed their expectations.
  • Collaborative Solutions: Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address unmet needs of customers and patients, positioning Novartis as a trusted partner.
  • Ethical Integrity: Uphold Novartis’ Code of Ethics, ensuring that all customer and internal interactions are transparent, respectful, and in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Work Experience: Prior experience in sales within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related business sectors is desirable. An established network within the target customer group is a plus.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as life sciences, healthcare management, or business is preferred.
  • Sales Skills: Strong selling and account management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with HCPs.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Customer Insights & Problem Solving: Ability to gather and analyze customer feedback and insights to create solutions that add value.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Strong adherence to ethical practices and compliance standards, with a track record of maintaining integrity in customer and business interactions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with teams across different functions to drive solutions and meet business objectives.
  • Adaptability & Learning: Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, staying updated on industry trends and customer needs.
