Kana Group is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that foster employee growth and align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Needs Analysis:
    • Conduct assessments to identify training and development needs across various departments.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand specific learning requirements.
  • Program Design and Development:
    • Create engaging learning programs, workshops, and courses tailored to diverse skill levels.
    • Utilize various instructional methods, including e-learning and in-person workshops.
  • Training Delivery:
    • Facilitate training sessions focused on leadership, soft skills, technical skills, and organizational culture.
    • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized training as needed.
  • Learning Evaluation:
    • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
    • Refine training content based on evaluations and organizational needs.
  • Learning Technology:
    • Manage learning management systems (LMS) to deliver and track employee development programs.
    • Stay updated on new learning technologies and trends.
  • Career Development:
    • Support employees in career development with coaching and guidance on learning opportunities.
    • Develop personalized development plans for key talents.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the People & Culture team to align training initiatives with HR strategies.
    • Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate training with performance management efforts.
  • Compliance Training:
    • Ensure timely delivery of mandatory compliance training and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in learning and development or HR.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in LMS and e-learning platforms.
    • Strong analytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness.
