Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify malfunctioning components.
- Ensure electrical systems are safe and running efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid electrical failures.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep up-to-date with new technology and electrical systems to continuously improve skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician or a similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, components, tools, and electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including outdoor and industrial settings.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
- Certification: Electrician certification/license in Kuwait or transferable from another country is an advantage.
- Visa Status: Company willing to transfer visas for qualified electricians.
