Weatherford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Repair & Maintenance Technician to join our team. This vital role ensures the operational efficiency of our business unit while contributing to strategic planning and building strong relationships with our workforce and clients. The successful candidate will address tooling requirements, participate in sourcing, and engage in business development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Training and Development: Attend product line-specific training sessions and complete assigned computer-based training as per the predetermined Learning Plan.
- Equipment Handling: Assemble, disassemble, and prepare rental equipment according to work instructions, ensuring all tools are tested and ready for use.
- Liner Systems Expertise: Assemble liner systems, perform tool preparation and testing, and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Liner Systems products and services.
- Measurement and Calibration: Identify and utilize all measurement equipment in accordance with calibration logs and work instructions.
- Performance Improvement: Recommend measures to enhance methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Safety Compliance: Attend all required safety training, adhere to Weatherford’s Quality Policy and safety rules, and perform work assignments to the highest quality standards.
- On-Call Duty: Be available for 24-hour on-call duty and willing to travel for extended periods as required.
- General Duties: Carry out various other duties assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Commitment to Quality: A strong commitment to service quality and attention to detail.
- Emergency Response: Physical ability to respond immediately to emergency situations.
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license, forklift, and overhead crane certifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Liner Systems. Preference will be given to candidates with a mechanical or petroleum diploma post-high school.
