Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision: Oversee front-of-house (FOH) employees, ensuring adherence to appearance standards and effective scheduling.
  • Customer Service: Take orders, serve food and drinks, and address inquiries about the menu while promoting menu items through suggestive selling techniques.
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise and ensure the execution of all FOH operations, maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Staff Development: Support the training and monitoring of subordinate staff, assigning duties as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
  • Guest Relations: Foster positive guest relations, handle complaints and concerns effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for stock rotation and managing restaurant inventory to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Hygiene Compliance: Maintain restaurant hygiene and standards in accordance with Kuwait Government regulations.
  • Ethical Conduct: Promote a transparent and accessible work ethic throughout the restaurant.
  • Collaborative Support: Assist other managers and Back of House staff to ensure the seamless functioning of the restaurant.
  • Additional Duties: Execute any other related tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of FOH operations, inventory management, and excellent customer service skills.
  • Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and staff.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle guest complaints and operational challenges professionally.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and develop team members.
