Key Responsibilities
- Client Education and Motivation:
- Educate and motivate clients on the safe and effective use of gym equipment and fitness techniques.
- Inspire guests to achieve their fitness goals through structured coaching and encouragement.
- Workout Program Development:
- Design and implement personalized one-on-one and group workout plans based on individual fitness assessments and goals.
- Conduct a minimum number of personal training (PT) and group sessions as set by management.
- Session Leadership:
- Lead engaging and instructional exercise sessions, providing clear guidance on proper form, exercise physiology, and technique.
- Ensure participants understand and follow gym policies, emphasizing safety and proper etiquette.
- Workout Program Design:
- Utilize company-provided software to design detailed workout programs aligned with the needs and goals of each guest.
- Ongoing Learning and Team Participation:
- Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing training opportunities to continually develop professional skills.
- Stay current with fitness industry trends and pursue additional fitness certifications with company support if applicable.
- Gym Promotion and Client Engagement:
- Actively promote the gym’s facilities, programs, and group classes to clients and potential members.
- Assist injured guests and ensure medical help is provided when necessary.
- Safety and Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe gym environment. Report accidents, injuries, and any unsafe conditions to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Preferred candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sport Science or a related field.
- Training and Certifications:
- Preferred candidates will have completed 2-3 relevant training courses related to physical training.
- Additional certifications or qualifications in areas such as nutrition, physical therapy, rehabilitation coaching, or bodybuilding are highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using basic computer and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command of the English language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with and inspire a diverse clientele.
- Ability to motivate and empower clients to reach their full potential in fitness and well-being.
