Brink’s Kuwait is seeking a highly qualified Aviations Senior Operations Manager to ensure the highest standards of aviation security within our operations. Responsibilities
- Security Standards Compliance: Ensure that aviation security standards are met and delivered to the highest level.
- Training Management: Lead the front-line delivery of all Aviation Security training aspects necessary for the successful execution of contract tasks.
- Competency Assessment: Review and assess the effectiveness of all Aviation Security training systems.
- SOP Management: Develop, implement, and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with national and international aviation security programs.
- Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the Ministry of Interior (MOI), and other key stakeholders.
- Training Development: Structure, design, deliver, and implement comprehensive Aviation Security training for all company staff, covering all security activities, including screening technologies associated with airport and airline security processes (x-ray screening, CT, and ETD).
- Business Development Support: Assist the senior management team in preparing bids for new business opportunities across all aviation trading entities.
- Project Management: Oversee various aviation projects in Kuwait, ensuring their successful execution.
- Compliance Monitoring: Audit Avsec training compliance at all airport contract sites and manage the output of the audits.
- Contingency Planning: Respond to and assist with contingency planning efforts.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of aviation security experience in an airport environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), European Commission (EC), and other international best practice standards related to aviation security.
- Audit and Compliance: Proven experience in conducting aviation security audits, compliance checks, and quality control activities.
- Staff Management: Experience managing operational staff on a 24/7 roster.
- Performance Delivery: Demonstrated ability to deliver on aviation security key performance indicators and contractual obligations in an international airport environment.
