We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sandwich Chef to join our team in Qurain, Kuwait. Responsibilities
As a Sandwich Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and assembling a variety of sandwiches according to menu specifications.
- Ensuring that all food items meet high-quality standards in terms of presentation, freshness, and taste.
- Managing food preparation areas, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are followed.
- Slicing meats, cheeses, vegetables, and other sandwich ingredients efficiently.
- Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow, especially during peak hours.
- Monitoring food stock and ordering supplies when necessary to avoid shortages.
- Assisting in menu planning and introducing new sandwich creations.
- Providing excellent customer service and handling any special dietary requests.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Sandwich Chef or in a similar culinary role.
- Visa: Article 18, Ahli visa holders only.
- Notice Period: Must be able to start within one month.
- Education: Culinary certification or diploma is preferred but not mandatory (discuss during the interview).
- Skills: Strong knife skills, a good sense of taste and flavor combinations, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
