Responsibilities

As a Technical Sales Engineer, your primary duties will include:

  • Understanding customer needs and providing technical solutions for IT, telecom, and low-voltage systems.
  • Collaborating with public and private sector clients, including ministries, to support tenders, submittals, and approvals.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and explaining the technical benefits of products and solutions to potential clients.
  • Working closely with the technical and presales team to align sales strategies with technical capabilities.
  • Driving revenue growth through proactive sales strategies, client engagement, and achieving sales targets.
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations that articulate the product features and value propositions clearly to clients.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships to foster long-term business partnerships.
  • Staying updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to offer innovative solutions to clients.

Qualifications & Skills

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (must be approved by the Kuwait Society of Engineers).
  • Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background, particularly in telephony, IT, and low voltage systems.
  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in technical sales or a related field, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Client Interaction: Experience working with ministry tenders, submittals, and approvals is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
