We are seeking a highly skilled and technically sound Sales Engineer to join our team in Shuwaikh, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will specialize in understanding the technical aspects of the company’s products and services and will be able to communicate these effectively to potential customers. You will provide tailored solutions to customer problems, ensuring the product meets system requirements and customer satisfaction. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations to demonstrate how products and services meet customer needs.
- Collaborating with customers and engineers to ensure equipment complies with system requirements.
- Communicating with the Technical Development Team to understand customer demands and providing sales support when needed.
- Securing orders, ensuring product standards, and overseeing product delivery to meet customer expectations.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring rapport and acceptance of products.
- Planning and suggesting modifications to products to better meet consumer demands.
- Assisting clients in resolving issues related to product usage and providing solutions.
- Recommending new and improved products that offer cost-effective solutions to clients.
Knowledge & Skills
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and equipment.
- Customer Knowledge: Insight into the customer segment, market pricing, and customer requirements.
- Sales Skills: Proficiency in presenting solutions, problem-solving, and proactively addressing client needs.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Team Player: Ability to work well with technical and sales teams to achieve common goals.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certifications: Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) approval is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar technical sales role.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and write in English.
- Driving License: A valid driver’s license is required.
