An engineering company in Kuwait is seeking a qualified IT Auditor to join our team. This position is crucial for assessing and improving our IT processes and systems. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in IT auditing and strong analytical skills to identify risks and recommend solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement audit test plans tailored to the organization’s needs.
- Conduct comprehensive audits and assess appropriate solutions to complex IT problems.
- Identify risks and controls within the IT department.
- Pinpoint areas for improvement and enhancement in IT processes.
- Perform and document audit findings clearly and concisely.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on assessments.
- Audit computer systems to minimize operational risks.
- Participate in technology audits and reviews of technology projects.
- Maintain and revise existing compliance programs to ensure alignment with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in any IT domain.
- Experience in IT Service Desk or IT Helpdesk roles.
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with ISO 20000, ISO 27001, or ITIL framework; certifications are a plus.
