IT Auditor

An engineering company in Kuwait is seeking a qualified IT Auditor to join our team. This position is crucial for assessing and improving our IT processes and systems. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in IT auditing and strong analytical skills to identify risks and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement audit test plans tailored to the organization’s needs.
• Conduct comprehensive audits and assess appropriate solutions to complex IT problems.
• Identify risks and controls within the IT department.
• Pinpoint areas for improvement and enhancement in IT processes.
• Perform and document audit findings clearly and concisely.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on assessments.
• Audit computer systems to minimize operational risks.
• Participate in technology audits and reviews of technology projects.
• Maintain and revise existing compliance programs to ensure alignment with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in any IT domain.
• Experience in IT Service Desk or IT Helpdesk roles.
• Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ISO 20000, ISO 27001, or ITIL framework; certifications are a plus.
