Bastion Hotels is seeking a motivated and organized Shiftleader for our restaurant in Haarlem. In this role, you will lead the restaurant team during your shift, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a key team member, you will be responsible for scheduling, managing, and supporting the restaurant staff while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This position offers 20 to 30 hours per week, with shifts typically scheduled from 16:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and occasional weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Oversee the restaurant team during your shift, ensuring that all staff members are organized and working efficiently.
- Scheduling: Create and manage shift schedules for restaurant employees, ensuring coverage across all working hours.
- Operations Support: Actively participate in restaurant operations, serving customers and ensuring smooth workflow during busy times.
- Cleanliness and Order: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order in the restaurant and bar areas.
- Administrative Tasks: Process and record staff working hours and other administrative tasks at the end of each shift.
- Multitasking: Support other departments within the hotel during high-demand periods or when required.
Qualifications:
- Availability: You are available to work part-time between Monday and Thursday, with occasional shifts on weekends.
- Working Hours: Your working hours will generally fall between 16:00 and 22:00.
- Team Player: You are a strong communicator and a true team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
- Stress Management: You thrive under pressure and are skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Language Skills: You can speak Dutch and/or English fluently.
- Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or similar role is essential.
