We are looking for a dedicated Electrical Estimation Engineer who possesses strong technical expertise and project management skills. This role involves performing detailed tender reviews, preparing cost estimations, and ensuring effective coordination between internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reviews of tenders, including contractual and commercial terms, and perform comprehensive risk analysis.
- Prepare accurate cost estimations and competitive techno-commercial offers for projects.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of vendors.
- Prepare variation estimations and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the Project Execution team and commercial department to monitor costs and prepare estimations for variation works, valuations, and claims.
- Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development phases, recommending cost-effective solutions while gathering proposals and specifications.
- Capable of managing projects, engineering, and executing electrical construction works efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with KSE membership.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estimation and project management.
- Licenses: Must possess a valid Kuwaiti Driver’s License.
- Skills:
- Ability to coordinate all tendering functions, ensuring good liaison and cooperation between internal departments and external suppliers/vendors.
- Strong business and commercial acumen.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic leader with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
