State Street is seeking a highly skilled Vice President (VP) to join our Risk Management and Performance Measurement Unit (RPU). This role will involve overseeing the delivery of services outlined in the Performance Measurement Services Agreement, providing ongoing support for various projects as needed by senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery and Project Management
- Clarify and document the scope of ongoing requirements from the Planning and Senior Management Support Sector (P&SMS) within the Client Office.
- Lead small and large-scale projects concerning Performance and Risk services provided to clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of client reports, acting as the final quality control in the report production process.
Client Management
- Proactively manage reporting requirements to ensure quality and completion of deliverables.
- Identify, track, and resolve any reporting and relationship issues efficiently.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, providing continuous onsite support.
Team Collaboration and Training
- Mentor and train RPU staff on performance and risk-related concepts.
- Collaborate with various teams to assist in the successful delivery of ongoing reporting requirements and improvements to reporting packages.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Continuously monitor the ongoing performance and risk analysis solutions delivered to clients.
- Hold regular calls with Edinburgh senior management to discuss issues or challenges.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Degree qualified; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
- Industry qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CIPM are highly regarded.
Experience
- Significant experience in a client-facing role, particularly in performance measurement and risk analytics.
Skills and Attributes
Essential Skills
- Detailed technical knowledge of Performance Measurement methodologies and systems.
- Working knowledge of risk analytics and risk management tools.
- Strong client management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
