Key Responsibilities
Developer – Level I:
- Develop, upgrade, test, implement, and document software components of client applications.
- Communicate with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements, and solution design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and apply corrections as required.
Developer – Level II:
- All responsibilities associated with Level I.
- Lead development efforts consisting of multiple developers or multi-thread development projects.
- Design, document, and enforce architectural and design standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
Developer – Level III:
- All responsibilities associated with Level I & II.
- Advise others on detailed specifications for application programming.
- Supervise the writing/revision of program documentation and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Level I:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in software development.
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, Java, SOA, or similar languages.
Level II:
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in software application development.
- Advanced knowledge of software tools, platforms, and processes.
Level III:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in software development and project management.
- Expert knowledge of software tools, platforms, and processes.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in ETL tools, especially DataStage scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
