Millennium Central Kuwait Downtown Hotel is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and implementation of effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to meet and exceed revenue targets in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team, including Sales Managers and Sales Executives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue goals and expand market share.
- Identify new business opportunities, nurture relationships with key accounts, and pursue sales leads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute impactful sales campaigns and promotions.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, particularly for group bookings and corporate accounts.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Train and support sales team members to optimize their performance and enhance team efficiency.
- Participate in financial planning and budgeting related to sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s environmental, health, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
- Familiarity with industry trends and competitor analysis.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
