Responsibilities

  • Course Preparation: Develop course materials, including syllabi, presentations, and assignments in collaboration with fellow faculty members.
  • Teaching: Deliver engaging, student-centered lectures utilizing available learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Banner) and innovative teaching methods.
  • Assessment: Administer and grade formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
  • Office Hours: Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support student learning and engagement.
  • Research: Conduct research in your field, publish findings in indexed journals, and contribute to the advancement of research activities within the department.
  • Departmental Involvement: Actively participate in departmental meetings, activities, and committees.
  • Additional Duties: Other responsibilities may be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A Ph.D. in Fine Arts, Photography, or a related field from an internationally accredited university.
  • Experience: Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research, with a publication record in indexed journals.

  • Professional Skills: Strong leadership, accountability, and collegiality, along with effective communication and organizational skills.
