Job Description:
As a faculty member, you will engage in teaching, research, and professional development activities. Successful candidates are expected to significantly contribute to research initiatives, publish findings in refereed journals, and maintain a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver undergraduate courses in Computer Engineering.
- Prepare teaching materials and maintain expertise in subjects taught.
- Engage in student advising and mentoring, including supervision of research projects.
- Evaluate and monitor student academic progress.
- Participate in departmental and college meetings and activities.
- Support departmental committees and supervise teaching assistants and lab instructors.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Head of the Department.
Job Requirements:
- Education: PhD Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field from an internationally accredited university.
- Experience: Excellent publication record, particularly within the last five years; prior teaching experience is preferred. Industry experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong commitment to teaching excellence, research capability, and proficiency in oral and written English.
- Research Areas: Interest in at least one of the following areas:
- Artificial intelligence and its sub-areas
- Data structure and object-oriented programming
- Computer architecture and design
- Systems analysis and design
- Other research areas related to Computer Engineering
