Responsibilities

  • Enter and retrieve information in computer databases to update records, reservations, and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Handle communication through mail, facsimile, and email, ensuring timely transmission of documents.
  • Operate standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers.
  • Prepare official letters, memos, and documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including stamping and distributing accordingly.
  • Maintain filing and organizational systems for records, reports, and other essential documents.
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and related data.
  • Use computers and point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Greet and assist guests, including those with disabilities, ensuring exceptional customer service in line with Marriott’s standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support team goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional certifications in administration or relevant experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and guests.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred.
