We are urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Cook for a newly opening restaurant in Fahaheel, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Indian cuisine and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, and other traditional specialties.
- Ensure all food is prepared fresh and in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and food safety protocols are followed.
- Develop new dishes and adjust recipes to meet customer preferences.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, ordering when necessary.
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper food handling and preparation techniques.
- Ensure timely preparation of orders during service hours.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Indian Cook, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Expertise in a wide range of Indian cuisine, including regional dishes.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required (discuss during the interview).
