We have an urgent requirement for an Area Manager in the culinary field located in Kuwait City. This full-time, on-site role is pivotal for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple food service locations, ensuring efficient and effective management.
  • Manage and supervise staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Implement and monitor food cost reduction plans to enhance profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Optimize operational processes for efficiency and quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with various teams to drive operational excellence and develop new concepts.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of ERP systems (Microsys) to manage operations effectively.
  • Engage with customers to enhance their experience and gather feedback for improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of local market trends and current food and beverage developments.
  • Manage home delivery operations and develop strategies for customer engagement.
  • Conduct food menu engineering to optimize offerings based on customer preferences and trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in area management within the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven experience managing over 8 cloud kitchens with a central kitchen operation.
  • Strong knowledge of online platforms and aggregators in the food service industry.
  • Valid Kuwait driving license is required.
  • Ability to speak Arabic is preferred for effective communication with staff and customers.
  • Strong analytical skills to examine data and make informed business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges effectively.
