Responsibilities
As a Heavy Driver, your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating heavy vehicles to transport building materials to various locations.
- Loading and unloading materials while ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Conducting routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Following all traffic laws and regulations while driving in urban and construction areas.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including material quantities and delivery times.
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate deliveries.
- Adhering to company policies and safety standards to promote a safe working environment.
- Reporting any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to the management.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Heavy Driver position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- A valid heavy vehicle driving license.
- Must possess a transferrable 18 no visa.
- Previous experience as a heavy driver, particularly in the construction or building materials industry, is preferred.
