In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and manage your own Book of Business (BOB) while implementing our company’s commercial strategies. Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive, you will have several important responsibilities:

  • Manage Your Book of Business: Continuously grow your volume, revenue, and profit margins while balancing the hunting and farming aspects of your client base.
  • Conduct Market Analysis: Perform competitive research and market analysis to identify opportunities for growth within your geographical area.
  • Client Liaison: Work closely with BOB clients to handle their daily requests related to export and import quotations, ensuring timely and accurate responses to close opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Operations: Coordinate with branch operations to customize standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on client needs.
  • Network with Partners: Engage with both internal networks and external partner agents to ensure excellent service delivery and support for new business opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM Systems: Effectively manage your sales pipeline and record activities in our CRM system, which is essential for the Field Sales Incentive Scheme.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up to date with local regulations, industry trends, and best practices to enhance your effectiveness in the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: A proven track record with at least 3 years of recent experience in freight forwarding sales is required. Freight forwarding experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of the Industry: Solid understanding of the freight forwarding industry and its operations.

  • Sales Execution: Ability to identify, pursue, and close business opportunities while ensuring necessary support from product and operations teams.
  • Agility: Skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks to meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Proficiency: Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, carriers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (both spoken and written); additional languages are a bonus but not required.
  • Driving License: A valid Kuwait driving license is mandatory.
